2020 Star Awards and Diamond Ratings in Beverly Hills
Each year, Forbes Travel Guide and AAA identify the top hospitality establishments around the world with the Forbes Star Awards and AAA Diamond Rating. Browse Beverly Hills’ list of 2020 Star and Diamond rated properties and learn how Forbes Travel Guide and AAA inspect and rate each property.
Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards: With the most stringent hospitality standards in the industry, and up to 900 criteria judged for each property, Forbes Travel Guide only awards the most luxurious hotels, spas and restaurants with a Five, Four or Recommended Rating. Properties that are nominated or request to be rated are vetted by Forbes Travel Guide’s Ratings department to determine if they are a qualified Star Rating candidate. From there, a Forbes Travel Guide inspector will make an anonymous visit to the hotel and perform an up to 900 point service standards inspection. Like the AAA Inspectors, Forbes inspectors do not reveal their identity or the reason for their visit to the hotel staff or guests.
AAA Diamond System: One of the most well-known ratings system in the U.S. is the AAA Diamond Rating. Properties who request an inspection must meet a 33-point qualification checklist just to be considered for a rating and will be evaluated based on member feedback and the experiences of AAA’s professional evaluators, who arrive to the hotel unannounced.
