The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts

A cultural oasis, The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, has produced and presented more than 400 theater, dance, music, cabaret, comedy and other performance art shows since its opening in 2013. The eclectic programming showcases a range which reflects the diverse landscape of Beverly Hills and greater Los Angeles area. Its state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot facilities and world-class acoustics create an atmosphere where music transcends boundaries and allows for connection between the artist and audience.

The Wallis’ center consists of two distinct buildings: the historic 1933 Italian Renaissance post office and the contemporary 500-seat Goldsmith Theater. Meanwhile, the 150-seat Lovelace Studio Theatre is often used for children’s programming, small productions, student performances and special events. 

The Saban Theatre

Steeped in history and elegance, The Saban Theatre has been a beacon of performing arts in Beverly Hills since its opening in 1930. This Art Deco structure not only hosts a variety of musical events, from concerts by renowned artists to theatrical performances that delight audiences but is also considered a classic Los Angeles landmark.

Notable figures and events that have performed at the venue include Paul Anka, Todd Rundgren, Stevie Nicks’ “White Winged Dove” tour, the premiere of Marilyn Monroe's “How to Marry a Millionaire,” Bob Saget and more.

Greystone Mansion and Gardens: The Doheny Estate

This estate is not only a historic landmark and park, but also an enchanting venue for music. Each year since 1994 and under Artistic Director Laura Schmieder, Greystone puts on Music in the Mansion, a series of weekends celebrating extraordinary music from not-so-traditional soloists and small ensembles.

Concerts on Cañon

Concerts on Cañon is Beverly Hills' vibrant and free summer concert series held in the lush Beverly Cañon Gardens located between The Maybourne Beverly Hills and Sweet Beverly from June through August.

Thursday evenings fill the park with rhythms and melodies performed by local bands and artists. Previous performances included a New Orleans party band Alligator Beach, a Beverly Hills Pride Night, tributes to rock and classic rock music and more. Concertgoers can lay down a picnic blanket and bring food from a variety of nearby restaurants to enjoy a Southern California summer evening.

Make Music Day Beverly Hills

Make Music Day Beverly Hills is a celebration of music from around the world that takes place annually on June 21. The city comes to life with jingling notes as people celebrate with day-long activities perfect for all ages and interests. The Beverly Hills Public Library hosts a story time in the auditorium while a drum circle forms at La Cienega Community Center and musical artists take the stage at Beverly Gardens Park for performances.

Make Music Day started 41 years ago in France and celebrations have since spread to more than 1,000 cities across the world, including Beverly Hills.
