Summer in Beverly Hills
Are you looking for the perfect summer getaway? Look no further than Beverly Hills. From rooftop pools and barbecues to free movies and concerts in the park, Beverly Hills has a variety of experiences and activities to make your summer spectacular.
Poolside Relaxation In The Sun
In a city known for its luxurious accommodations and exceptional restaurants, it’s only fitting that the pools are one of the most lavish features of our hotels.
Take a dip in the historic Aqua Star Pool at The Beverly Hilton. The pool was inaugurated in 1955 by film star and competitive swimmer, Esther Williams, and was on the receiving end of Angelina Jolie’s celebratory plunge after winning a Golden Globe for her performance in Gia. Over at The Beverly Hills Hotel, a well-known vacation spot for countless celebrities and VIPs, spend your day by the pool and enjoy complimentary refreshments like frozen peanut butter cups and mojito pops, which are available at various times throughout the day. Looking for a little something extra? Cabana rentals at The Beverly Hills Hotel come complete with a fruit bowl, complimentary wifi and a 46” LCD television.
You can also chill out at the pool at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Season’s Hotel, which was modeled after Sophia Loren’s private Italian Villa and offers two cabana packages which include a bottle of champagne, seasonal fruit and lunch at the pool’s café. For a more tailored cabana experience, consider a poolside experience at Montage Beverly Hills. Set against a backdrop of panoramic views of the city, the rooftop cabanas at The Montage include flat screen TVs, Evian misters and wi-fi. The hotel also offers an array of cabana packages perfect for families and Bachelor/ette celebrations. Rooftop pools can also be found at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills and Sixty Beverly Hills, each offering the perfect getaway for those hoping to catch some sun or take in the sights of Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles skyline from every angle.

An Evening Under the Stars
Once the sun sets, head over to The Peninsula Beverly Hills’ Roof Garden for the hotel’s summer weekend BBQ series. The al fresco rooftop restaurant offers a BBQ dinner every Saturday and Sunday through September with BBQ favorites including Grass-Fed Beef Brisket, Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Can Chicken and Charred Whole Branzino. The Roof Garden will also serve specialty cocktails from their summer menu and S’mores for dessert, prepared tableside on the rooftop’s hibachi grill.
On Thursday evenings, from June 4 through September 1, The City of Beverly Hills presents Concerts on Cañon. This outdoor summer concert series takes place at Beverly Canon Gardens, between Beverly and Canon Drives next to Montage Beverly Hills, and features various styles of music from jazz and samba to classic rock-and-roll.
To add to the summer fun, the City of Beverly Hills also brings Sunday Movie Nights to Beverly Canon Gardens, which are held on select Sundays between July 10 to August 28. Guests are invited to enjoy a free movie screening projected onto a 20-foot inflatable screen. This year’s lineup includes family-friendly favorites like Minions and The Sandlot.
Whether you’re looking to spend a day in the sun or a night under the stars, there’s no better place to experience a Southern California summer than Beverly Hills. For more summer events and activities, visit our online calendar of events.
