Summer Weather & Fall Flavors in Beverly Hills
Although it’s still warm and sunny in Beverly Hills, hints of autumn have made their way into the city in the form of wonderful seasonal treats and delectable dishes. With the holidays just around the corner, fall in love with the flavors of the season at these Beverly Hills locations.
Paying homage to two of autumn’s most traditional treats, caramel dipped apples and pumpkin pie, Sprinkles offers Caramel Apple cupcakes, made with Granny Smith apples and topped with a buttery caramel cream cheese frosting and Pumpkin cupcakes, laced with ginger, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. Whether bobbing for the bakery’s Caramel Apple cupcakes which are available in October or carving a bite into a Pumpkin cupcake, available in November, we’re sure Sprinkles’ seasonal treats will flood you with memories of homemade Thanksgiving desserts from years past.
Those lucky enough to have snagged an October reservation at celebrity chef Curtis Stone’s Maude, will enjoy a nine-course meal with chicories incorporated into every dish. But those who were able to book a reservation in November might be a tad bit luckier, as November features one of the most anticipated menus of the year: White Truffle. If you weren’t able to make one of the coveted reservations for either of these months, keep your chin up! The restaurant will begin taking reservations for December (Black Truffle month) on November 1 at 10am both online and via phone.
The taste of Le Pain Quotidien’s seasonal specials will remind you that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The menu includes a Warm Autumn Grain Bowl with quinoa, farro, roasted Brussel Sprouts, butternut squash, kale, arugula, spiced pecans and fresh goat cheese. For dessert they serve up Speculoos Tiramisu, a delicious combination of espresso and Belgium cookies. To further dive into the season, drinks such as warm Spiced Apple Cider and chilled Cherry Chia Limeade are also available at the café
