Beverly Hills celebrates Earth Day with their 16th Annual Earth Day event on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Beverly Hills Farmers' Market, located along Third Street, between Civic Center Drive and Foothill Road. Hosted by the Public Works Department, this free public city event features activities for all ages and brings global environmental awareness locally to Beverly Hills. Learn more about water conservation, drought tolerant planting, earthquake preparedness, smart bikes, alternative energy and much more!
Activities include:
- Water Conservation; Make every drop count! Learn how to conserve with water saving tips
- Paper Shredding Event: Bring your confidential documents to be shredded safely and securely (no limit)
- Quake Cottage: Ride the mobile earthquake simulator! Are you prepared?
- Earth Day crafts and stories
- Petting Zoo and Pet adoptions
- Solar Sourcing
- Free Gardening Compost (limited quantities)
- Raffle prizes and much more!
