Guided Hike & Introduction to Birding Learn to identify our feathered friends that live in the Santa Monica Mountains. This is a family-‐friendly program great for kids of all ages (trails are not stroller friendly). Please bring your own binoculars, water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, and weather-‐appropriate clothes, such as hats and layers.

Meet at the north end of the parking lot adjacent to the Sooky Goldman Nature Center. Access Franklin Canyon Park at the north entrance on Mulholland across from Tree People, or from the south by making a left on Beverly Drive from Coldwater Canyon north toward Sutton Way. Turn right onto North Franklin Canyon Drive and follow the road until you come to the parking lot at the William O. Douglas Outdoor Classroom and Sooky Goldman Nature Center.
