Drew Croon's Misa Gitana Andaluza: A Spanish Classical & Flamenco Evening

Flamenco and jazz piano virtuoso Alex Conde from Spain, elegant mezzo-soprano Kindra Scharich, and Spanish classical and flamenco dancer extraordinaire Fanny Ara take you on a Gypsy-inspired musical journey that is surprising, dramatic, and promises to astonish.

The fresh new San Francisco ensemble makes its L.A. debut performance, premiering Misa Gitana Andaluza - A Gypsy Mass, a hybrid of lavish classical Latin prayers set to exotic flamenco melodies, tones, and chords from Andalusia. These striking artists present a performance unlike any other, of the unique and haunting breakthrough work by late American composer Drew Croon.

Alex Conde and Fanny Ara also dazzle with Spanish and flamenco solo piano pieces and dances, and special guest artist Taso Comanescu delights with Spanish classical selections on guitar.
