Every Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy a fun, entertaining, and educational program featuring screenings of beloved TV shows inspired by classic children’s books. The program starts with a cozy story time, where a presenter reads the original book aloud. Afterward, families will watch the TV show adaptation and participate in arts & crafts and activities inspired by the stories. It’s the perfect combination of reading, watching, and playing—only at Paley!
July Schedule: The World of Madeline
“Madeline at the Louvre”
- Dates: July 6 and July 20
- In this episode, Madeline takes painting lessons and decides to have her painting framed. While out on a trip to the frame shop, Miss Clavel takes the girls to the Louvre, and Madeline accidentally leaves her painting behind. When a security guard and curator mistake it for a new museum piece, they decide to hang it next to the Mona Lisa! How will Madeline get her beloved painting back?
“Madeline and the Singing Dog”
- Dates: July 13 and July 27
- In this episode, Miss Clavel takes Madeline, her classmates, and their dog Genevieve to the opera. Unfortunately, Genevieve cannot help but sing along with the baritone on stage. When the girls awake the next morning, they are heartbroken to find Genevieve missing but are surprised to find her back at the opera. Madeline must come up with a plan to get their beloved dog back.
July Arts & Crafts: Bring Madeline’s Paris to Life!
- Grab some crayons and get ready for a Parisian adventure! Follow a fun step-by-step guide to draw Madeline, give her a splash of color—classic blue and yellow or your own twist! Then dream up your own scene—maybe she’s at the Eiffel Tower or munching on a croissant at a cozy café. It's your masterpiece—let your imagination run wild!
