Greystone in the Movies: "Phantom of the Paradise" with Special Guest Paul Williams

Join the historic Greystone Mansion & Gardens for Phantom of the Paradise movie night on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The event begins with an exclusive tour of areas in the Mansion where scenes were filmed before the showing inside the restored theater.

This musical horror movie from 1974 tells the tale of a young composer who sells his music in a deal he doesn't fully understand, the woman he loves, and the unscrupulous music producer who stole his music to open his new concert hall.

Directed by Brian De Palma with music by Paul Williams, this film has achieved cult classic status in the fifty-plus years since it was released.

The event will start with a tour of locations used during filming, followed by a screening of the film in the Greystone Theatre.

No food/beverages are permitted inside the theatre.
