Kentucky Derby Viewing Party & Brunch in The Polo Lounge

The Polo Lounge at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel honors the time-honored traditions and pageantry surrounding the Kentucky Derby with a fun-filled themed brunch and viewing party to celebrate the big race. As part of the fun-filled day, the following specialty offerings are planned on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 11:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.

Themed Brunch
Guests will enjoy a three-course themed brunch while watching the beloved race inside the iconic restaurant or outside on its garden patio. Brunch is priced at $115 per person and will include one Kentucky Derby themed cocktail.

Menu to include items such as:

• KENTUCKY HOT BROWN - Open-Faced Turkey Sandwich, Sautéed Mushrooms, Parmesan, Mornay Sauce
• HALF-RACK BABY BACK BOURBON BBQ RIBS - Corn on the Cob, Coleslaw, Potato Salad
• SHRIMP AND GRITS - Pimento Cheese Grits, Bluegrass Shrimp, Smoked Bacon

Join The Beverly Hills Hotel in toasting this year’s contenders by sampling the bar’s signature Mint Juleps (bourbon, mint, crushed ice and sugar and served in the traditional steel julep cup). Other themed cocktails will also be available, such as Kentucky Buck (bourbon, honey, lemon, homemade ginger beer) and Bourbon Lemonade Slushies (bourbon, lemonade, mint). Or guests can enjoy a classic Old-Fashion or Manhattan.

More “Horsing Around”
Throughout the afternoon’s festivities, guests are encouraged to enter a “Best Hat” contest and the lucky winner will receive brunch for two in the Polo Lounge to be used at a future date.
