This year’s theme, “Travel Matters,” is a recognition of the innumerable ways in which travel enriches lives and strengthens communities, such as Beverly Hills. Travel has a positive effect on Beverly Hills and the nation's economic prosperity and image abroad as it imacts business productivity and the individual travelers' well-being.
Did you know:
- 7.5 million visitors traveled to Beverly Hills in 2018, resulting in $64 million in tax revenue for the City of Beverly Hills and $2.27 million in direct spend at local businesses, supporting 13,000 jobs as a result.
- Travel matters to Beverly Hills, with its Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau, the official city organization charged with promoting the city, to bring visitors to stay in our hotels, shop in our stores, eat in our restaurants and enjoy the community.
- Leisure travel, which accounts for more than three-quarters of all trips taken in the U.S., spurs countless benefits to travelers’ health and wellness, creativity, cultural awareness, education, happiness, productivity and relationships.
