Now that retro culture has influenced film and TV audiences and Mid-Century styles and architecture are the essence of hipster chic, there's never been a better time to delve into the world of NUTTY, the band who performs their branded "Jetsetter Jazz", a swingin', swanky sonic cocktail...spiked, shaken and stirred!  It's a lifestyle thing, and it's cheeky fun...and it's all about the music.

Nutty takes rock/jazz mash-ups to a whole new level, showcasing intricate arrangements that are seamless in their execution.  Countless artists have taken contemporary pop and jazzed it up over the years, but Nutty delves into the core of a classic rock song and completely rewires it, weaving classic jazz quotes and riffs into the structure of the song to make it a true hybrid.  Add to that an occasional nod (and a wink) to a classic film/TV reference to stir up the mix and you've got jazz that's fun.

It's a crack outfit that features drums, percussion, piano, bass and three horns that comprise a trumpet and two saxes that double on flute.  And when singer Sonny Moon saunters up to croon, you'll think you've been transported back in time, when martinis were a lunch staple and the Rat Pack held court at the Sands...say, 1960.  With these cats on stage, it's a Bachelor Pad vibe, right down to the black suits, skinny ties and irreverent humor.
