MORE INFORMATION

Omer Adam was born in Mishmar HaShiva (Israel) in 1993 and is a singer. He began his musical journey by singing at an early age and he started to get mainstream recognition after appearing on the 7th season of Kokhav Nolad; an Israeli reality television show - based on England's British Pop Idol - searching for talented new vocalists. He made it to week 6 of the show but was disqualified as he was 5 months away from his 16th birthday (the minimum age for applying for the show). Despite this setback, he went on a year long 150 date tour and released his debut single shortly thereafter.

His musical style is best described as a blend of Mizrahi (a genre of music in Israel - usually sung in Hebrew, literary Hebrew, or colloquial Arabic - that combines elements from Europe, North Africa and the Arab world, and is mainly performed by Israelis of Mizrahi descent) and Western pop instrumentation and arrangements. He's had a stellar career with 4 studio albums and a number of successful singles. He's also the youngest artist to perform live in Caesarea Maritima; an Israeli National Park in the Sharon plain.
