The City of Beverly Hills is honored to add an extraordinary sculpture by Woods Davy entitled Stillwater, 1997, to the Public Art Collection of over 60 pieces on display throughout the City.
A dedication and reception will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Coldwater Canyon Park (Reservoir side), 1100 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills.
The public is invited to attend. Shuttle transportation to the dedication will be provided at 12:30 p.m. in front of Beverly Hills City Hall, 450 North Crescent Drive.
Stillwater is a donation from the family of the late Carol Wiseman, a long-time resident of Beverly Hills who had a passion for art matched only by her passion for family. Cynthia Eberly, daughter of Ms. Wiseman, says, “The beautiful sculpture stood at the entrance of my mother’s home and welcomed all who visited. Even though she is gone, she lives on through her art that hangs in the homes of her family. This sculpture that welcomed everyone to her home, is now here in Coldwater Park and welcomes all to the City of Beverly Hills.”
