The Great Elephant Migration, a traveling art exhibition featuring 100 life-sized elephant sculptures, will be on display in Beverly Hills from July 1 to August 1, 2025.
The exhibit will be located at Beverly Gardens Park, along four blocks from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive. The installation is free and open to the public.
In Beverly Hills, the elephants will be adorned with ceremonial blankets as part of Wrapped in History, an artistic collaboration curated by renowned Indian designer Vikram Goyal. Each blanket is created by an artist or designer from around the world and draws from South Asian, Indigenous North American, and diasporic textile traditions.
About the exhibition: The Great Elephant Migration is a one-of-a-kind public art and fundraising campaign featuring 100 life-sized elephant sculptures, handcrafted from invasive Lantana camara by The Real Elephant Collective, 200 Indigenous artisans in India’s Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
