September marks the anniversary of Greystone Mansion & Gardens as both a dedicated public park and the month the Doheny family moved into the Greystone Estate. In celebration, The Great Outdoors at Greystone on September 17 will offer the beauty of nature with a day-long festival that will include fun and engaging activities for everyone. Activities include everything from seedling plantings to take home and a poetry wall to share your words to drought-friendly gardening classes, a scavenger hunt, sketching, photography and self-guided tours.
