Beverly Hills Activates its Nightlife by Introducing Later Store Hours, Outdoor Concerts and More this Summer
For the first time, visitors and residents will enjoy extended shopping hours and DJs each weekend in August along with in-store tastemaker events, outdoor movies and concerts.
(BEVERLY HILLS; JULY 4, 2017) – Beverly Hills is the place to spend summer evenings, thanks to its new initiative lead by Mayor Lili Bosse, Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and Rodeo Drive Committee that involves extending store hours to encourage shoppers and restaurant goers to embrace the city’s offerings after the sun sets. Here’s a roundup of summer activities happening:
- Beverly Hills Open Later Days (B.O.L.D.) – Beginning August 3, B.O.L.D. will give tourists and locals a chance to enjoy the best of Beverly Hills late into the evening. Throughout the month of August, many retail businesses will stay open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings until 8 p.m. B.O.L.D. nights will feature live entertainment, style sessions with fashion influencers, in-store tastemaker events, branded food carts and café seating along Rodeo Drive’s 200-block.
- Concerts on Canon – Held in the beautiful Beverly Canon Gardens between Montage Beverly Hills and Bouchon Bistro, live performances celebrate a wide-range of musical styles from Motown to Broadway hits and everything in-between. The complimentary concerts take place every Thursday night until August 31 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Highlights include The Hodads showcasing classic Beach Boys covers (July 13); the Tom Nolan Band featuring slick Motown jams (July 27); and Joyce Marie playing Brazilian jazz (August 24).
