Beverly Hills Debuts New Visitor Center

Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau opens City's first state-of-the-art Visitor Center to assist tourists, locals with everything Beverly Hills

(August 20, 2012) - Beverly Hills, CA - Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and the city of Beverly Hills is thrilled to announce the opening of their new, state-of-the-art Visitor Center located at 9400 South Santa Monica Boulevard, in the heart of the Golden Triangle. The 500 square foot welcome center will be the gateway into the city offering the ultimate in service. Whether you prefer high-tech or high-touch, the new Visitor Center will help navigate the city with insider tips and information available through touch screen displays, iPads, brochures and an on-site concierge. The center will also feature the city's iconic heritage with photo displays and videos showing historic locations juxtaposed against modern day views. Visitors will be able to purchase Beverly Hills keepsakes to remember their visit to this world-renown city.

"The Visitors Center will be the ultimate microcosm for the Beverly Hills experience," said Offer Nissenbaum, managing director of The Peninsula Beverly Hills and newly appointed Chairman of the Visitors Bureau's Board of Directors. "No matter where you go in Beverly Hills, visitors will find the perfect experience to suit their needs. The Visitor Center will help guests fulfill those expectations by providing access to information that will help them customize their visit."

The center is set to be a first stop upon arrival to the city and offers a prime photo opportunity in front of the iconic Beverly Hills Shield. Collateral including maps, shopping guides and itineraries, are translated into several languages and will aid international visitors in customizing their experience in Beverly Hills, whether in town for a few hours or a few weeks. INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY

State-of-the-Art interactive displays utilizing touch screens and including mounted iPads.
Interactive content will feature newly acquired high-res images and iconic historical images depicting Beverly Hills from the past to present.

Special exclusive offers only available in the Visitor Center and downloadable to any Smart Phone. Offers range from gifts with purchase such as a Lladro porcelain figurine valued at over $300 to a complimentary tasting course at the 5-Star Peninsula Beverly Hills. These exclusive offers from our retail, dining, hotel, spa and sightseeing partners such Spa Montage, Scandia Home, and The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills will also be available to those without smart phones via printed certificates.

MERCHANDISING

Tickets and admission passes for purchase to local Southern California attractions through CityPass.
Branded Beverly Hills merchandise will be available for purchase from the Shop BH Collection including baseball caps, leather business card holders, hydration bottles, flash drives and pins.

Beginning mid 2013, The Beverly Hills Visitor Center will also feature merchandise currently in development for the City's Centennial Celebration.
