Beverly Hills Heads to New York for its Annual Sales Mission

Mayor Julian A. Gold, M.D. and Key City Representatives to Promote Beverly Hills Destination to Top Influential Contacts in the New York Tri-State Area

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – October 26, 2015 – Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau (BHCVB), Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce (BHCC), and the City of Beverly Hills are partnering to bring Beverly Hills to New York. Beginning Tuesday, October 27 through Thursday, October 29, the City’s annual New York Sales Mission will encompass a series of meetings and events designed to maintain existing relationships and develop new connections with key businesses, travel trade representatives, meeting planners and top media contacts in New York City and the surrounding areas. Mayor Julian A. Gold, M.D. and Vice Mayor John Mirisch will join representatives from BHCVB and BHCC, to encourage travel and business growth to Beverly Hills and further support the longstanding relationship between the two iconic cities.

“This annual sales mission is a vital campaign for Beverly Hills and I’m thrilled to join the Chamber of Commerce and Conference & Visitors Bureau to promote our iconic destination,” said Julian A. Gold, M.D., mayor of Beverly Hills. “Campaigns like these ensure that Beverly Hills is top-of-mind for this influential market and ultimately works to further stimulate the local economy.”

Throughout the week-long mission, Mayor Gold will join executives from BHCC in key business meetings and appointments to attract new businesses to Beverly Hills as well as foster existing connections. Some of the meetings secured include appointments with Bally, Chanel, Fendi, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and more. Mayor Gold will also join BHCVB CEO, Julie Wagner, on media meetings with top press in New York City.

BHCVB, will once again partner with the mayor, the General Managers of Beverly Hills’ hotels and two of the city’s leading car rental partners to host “An Evening with Beverly Hills,” an elaborate reception for New York travel trade representatives, meeting and event planners and business leaders that help drive business to Beverly Hills. This year’s reception will be held at the renowned St. Regis New York on the evening of Thursday, October 29, and will allow top travel decision makers to network with Beverly Hills’ hoteliers and other business partners.

Participating hotels and businesses at the travel trade reception include AKA Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Montage Beverly Hills, The Peninsula Beverly Hills and Sixty Beverly Hills, Black & White Car Rental and MCar | Wilshire Limousine.
