The Oscars, or Academy Awards, are the most prestigious annual awards in the film industry, recognizing artistic and technical excellence in cinema. Presented by AMPAS, they honor films from the previous year across various categories, with winners receiving the iconic golden statuette, officially named the Academy Award of Merit.
