Broadway comes to Beverly Hills. Sterling Venue Ventures and Desert Theatricals have joined forces to showcase Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, taking center stage June 30 and July 1 at the historic Saban Theatre.
The musical follows the biblical story of Jacob’s favorite son Joseph and his eleven brothers. Joseph is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and ends up imprisoned by an Egyptian noble. While imprisoned, he discovers he can interpret dreams and eventually becomes the Pharaoh’s right hand man as he helps end Egypt’s famine.
