On September 14, you are invited to explore a captivating journey through some of Beverly Hills’ iconic cultural and historic landmarks, expertly guided by the City’s Urban Designer, cultural heritage consultant, and historic preservation team.
The behind-the-scenes tour will showcase the elegant Beverly Hills City Hall, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (formerly the City of Beverly Hills Post Office), and the timeless allure of the City’s historic landmarks in the “Golden Triangle”, including a special visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Anderton Court Shops (recently restored and new home to world renowned retailer — Givenchy).
The tour will conclude with a visit to historic Beverly Gardens Park to bask in the charm of the iconic Lily Pond. Participants will gain a unique perspective on the rich tapestry of Beverly Hills’ history and the profound influence these sites have wielded in shaping the City’s illustrious prominence.
About Doors Open California: Doors Open California is the largest statewide celebration of historic places in California. Enthusiasts of historic architecture, design, and cultural heritage will have access to over 80 sites across the state on the weekends during the month of September 2024.
