City of Fire Exhibition at Stephen Webster

City of Fire explores the idea of ambition and personal accomplishment in Beverly Hills within the context of a town internationally synonymous with success, fame, and affluence. Consisting of artists ranging from street and graffiti artists that started by making a name for themselves rebelliously on urban walls and outdoor surfaces to artists that reject the traditional ideas, subjects, and techniques consistent with what constitutes fine art, these individuals in their late twenties to early forties view Beverly Hills as intensely more than just a city and their respective paths leading up to exhibiting their art there is fiercely dissimilar to the ones taken by any fashion designer, movie star, or celebrity who has achieved success in the town.

The exhibition will be on display in the Stephen Webster U.S. Flagship boutique until July 31, 2012. Monday thru Saturday, 10am-6pm and Sunday, Noon-5pm
