Careful the wish you make! Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), a Baker and his wife find that out when they each take a journey into the forest that tests how far they would go to make their wishes come true. It’s a magical, bewildering place full of witches, wolves, giants and mysterious strangers - where familiar tales get tangled up together. Wishes come true here, but at a price. Even storybook characters must face the music in Sondheim and Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical fractured fairytale that looks beyond "happily ever after."
