“Postcards from the Limbic System” Exhibition at Timothy Yarger Fine Art

Timothy Yarger Fine Art is pleased to announce "Rodger Stevens: Postcards from the Limbic System." Please join the gallery and artist for a special Opening Reception: October 1st, 2016 (6-8pm) and Artist Talk at 7:15pm.

Stevens is a Brooklyn-born sculptor whose principle medium is wire. His work, though apparently abstract in nature, is firmly rooted in narrative and draws heavily upon literature, history, and personal experience. The objects he makes embody carefully wrought stories.

After earning degrees in both Economics and Fine Art, and spending six formative years at the Sotheby’s auction house in New York, Stevens is now an internationally-exhibited artist. His work resides in numerous private collections and the artist has also collaborated with esteemed corporate clients such as West Elm, Starbucks, The New Yorker, and Nike. Most recently Stevens was selected for a prestigious Artist Studio Residency at the Art & Design Museum of New York which begins this month.
