Suzi Digby and The Golden Bridge

Join renowned conductor Suzi Digby OBE and The Golden Bridge ensemble as they explore the relationship between two golden ages of composition; renaissance England and modern day California.   Masterpieces of the Tudor age are reflected in world premieres of four new works by Shelton Berg, Nick Strimple, Ernesto Herrera, and 16 year-old prodigy Samuel Siskind. In addition, the group will perform Cristian Grases' work "De Profundis" which was commissioned by Golden Bridge in 2019.

The Golden Bridge was created in 2014 and features 20 of LA's best professional singers.  Since its launch, the group has premiered new works by composers including Nick Strimple, Dale Trumbore, Julia Adolphe, and Grammy award winners Stephen Hartke and Bill Cunliffe.  In 2016, Golden Bridge was asked by patron Morten Lauridsen to give the world premiere of his choral piece Ya Eres Mia (Now You Are Mine), a sublime setting of Neruda's poem.
