Most Americans think of schnapps as an overly sweet drink to avoid at all costs, but that's because they've never tasted the real thing. Here's the perfect opportunity to discover the art of drinking schnapps at an intimate tasting evening with Hans Reisetbauer, one of the world's premier brandy distillers, making a rare appearance in Los Angeles.
BierBeisl Chef/Owner Bernhard Mairinger, will present an eight-course tasting menu paired with Reisetbauer's Fruit brandies, Single Malt Whisky and Blue Gin.

Menu: Eight small plate tastings paired with six exclusive Fruit Brandies (Eau de Vies); 7 year aged Single Malt Whiskey and Blue Gin.

  • Vanilla infused Goat Cheese with baby frisee and cherry compote - Paired with WILD CHERRY
  • Chicken Liver Mousse - Paired with ROWANBERRY
  • Weisswurst poached in milk broth - Paired with BLUE GIN
  • Marinated Rabbit Loin with pickled plums and vanilla fennel salad - Paired with PLUM
  • Venison Loin with braised red cabbage romanesco and poached pear - Paired with ROWANBERRY
  • White Chocolate Poppy Seed Parfait and marinated raspberries - Paired with RASPBERRY
  • Sachertorte with schlag - Paired with APRICOT
  • Salted Caramelized Chestnuts - Paired with SINGLE MALT WHISKEY
