The small specialty bookstore in Beverly Hills has gotten as much attention for the innovative design of its store as it has for its unique offering of high-quality art and design and coffee table books.
Beverly Hills was TASCHEN’s first store in the United States. Conceived by celebrated French designer Philippe Starck and inspired by the high ceilings and immersive artworks of the Sistine Chapel, the mahogany, brass, and glass interiors are enveloped by 20 “Computer Paintings” by German artist Albert Oehlen.
