LA Metro's D Line (purple) subway extension expands the subway from the Koreatown neighborhood to Westwood, the neighbordhood home of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), connecting downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) to West LA via the City of Beverly Hills, with two Metro stations, and Century City. This high-capacity, zero-emission rail line will reduce travel times, improve access to jobs and education, and support cleaner, more sustainable travel across Los Angeles County. Travel time between downtown Los Angeles and Westwood is expected to be approximately 25 minutes.
