MORE INFORMATION

Blood, Sweat and Tears (also known as BS&T) was formed in New York City in 1967 by Al Kooper, Jim Fielder, Fred Lipsius, Randy Brecker, Jerry Weiss, Dick Halligan, Steve Katz, and Bobby Colomby. The band’s been through many line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Bo Bice (vocals), Dillon Kondor (guitar), Glenn McClelland (keyboards), Ric Fierabracci (bass), Jonathan Powell (trumpet), Brad Mason (trumpet), Dan Levine (trombone), Ken Gioffre (saxophone), and Dylan Elise (drums).

Their musical style is best described as a blend of jazz rock (a genre that was developed in the late 1960s by jazz musicians experimenting with the addition of rock rhythms and electric instruments to harmonic, melodic, rhythmic, and instrumentational elements from jazz tradition), AM pop (the dominant sound of Top 40 AM radio during the 1960s and '70s), pop rock, R&B, and psychedelic rock (a style of rock music - inspired or influenced by psychedelic culture - that attempts to replicate and enhance the mind altering experiences of psychedelic drugs, most notably LSD, by using novelty recording techniques, electronic instruments or effects). They’ve had a stellar career with 11 studio albums, 3 live albums, 11 compilation album, 1 soundtrack album, and 18 singles.
