Join the city of Beverly Hills and the Community Services Department for a series of events throughout the month of May celebrating and recognizing the achievements and contributions of Jewish Americans.
- Beverly Hills Public Library Display – (May 1 - 31) – Enjoy a selection of books and audiovisual items on display at the Beverly Hills Public Library celebrating influential and prominent Jewish Americans, as well as compelling and interesting stories about Jewish life in the United States.
- Roxbury Reels - Movies Celebrating Storylines about Jewish Americans, Roxbury Park Community Center – (May 4, 11, 18 & 25 - Thursdays at 1 p.m.) – May 4, Fiddler on the Roof; May 11, A Serious Man; May 18, Funny Girl; and May 25, An American Pickle.

- Beverly Hills Active Adult Club Presents "Song and Dance with a Tribute to Jewish Heritage," Roxbury Park Community Center – (Monday, May 8 – 1 p.m.)
- Rugelach Contest and Klezmer Music at Beverly Hills Farmers' Market – (Sunday, May 14 – 9 a.m.-1 p.m.) – Enter the Rugelach Baking Contest and see who are the winners at the Farmers' Market, where you can also enjoy Klezmer music from Mostly Kosher. Register for the baking contest here.
- "Shalom Stories" - Storytime with Jessica Honor Carleton, Beverly Hills Public Library – (Sunday, May 28 – 1 p.m.) – Join Emmy Award-winning actress and writer, Jessica Honor Carleton who is excited to share stories from her culture and celebrate Jewish storytelling.
- Critical Conversations Speaker Series: The Jewish Contributions to the American Fabric of Life, City Hall Municipal Gallery – (Wednesday, May 31 - 6:30 p.m.) – Join a free speakers series, where five dynamic leaders will discuss and celebrate the Jewish contributions in all aspects of American life, including arts and culture, politics, media and entertainment, philanthropy, the tech industry and science and medicine.
