Stargazing & Celebrity Spotting in Beverly Hills
From the haunts of famous celebrities to peeks at their glamorous homes, those seeking a brush with fame can do it all in the city of Beverly Hills.
- 8 am: Get your breakfast at Nate 'n Al Delicatessen, an old-fashion favorite where legendary radio and TV host, Larry King, was a frequent patron.
- 9:30 am: Work off breakfast with a leisurely stroll down Rodeo Drive. It may be too early to catch VIP shoppers, but you'll have an unimpeded view of the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style. Find the plaque of your favorite honoree, from designers such as Manolo Blahnik and Donatella Versace to supermodel, Iman.
- 10 am: Visit the Beverly Hills Visitor Center for information on Starline and other tours and embark on a journey with potential celebrity sightings at nearly every corner.
- Noon: Upon your return from the Starline tour, make your way to The Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch at The Polo Lounge. The indoor-outdoor restaurant, in the heart of the famed 'Pink Palace' hotel is one of the "see and be seen" spots in the city. Take a peek around the dining room, sure to be filled with major star power, in front of and behind the camera.
- 2 pm: Head back over to the Golden Triangle and check out Beverly Cañon Gardens and the former Montage Beverly Hills, now The Maybourne Beverly Hills, a hotel frequented by Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin.
- 7:00 pm: Finish your day with dinner at one of the city's incredible restaurants, including:
Spago Beverly Hills, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s legendary restaurant of modern Californian fare – think black pearl kaluga caviar cannoli or tempura soft shell crab. There is a staggering collection of wines to choose from, but many come with a celebrity price-tag. Spago is a favourite of Sharon Stone, Gwen Stefani, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Tom Hanks.
Mastro's is a sophisticated and classic steakhouse featuring prime steaks and fresh seafood along with live music and dancing. Mastro's is a hot spot for celebrity sightings. You may recognize their teal facade as it's in the background of many TMZ video clips.
La Dolce Vita has long been the favorite destination of the renowned and famous. From presidents and celebrities to the Rat Pack and the rest of us who are looking for some of the finest Northern Italian cuisine in Southern California.
The Hideaway, a popular Mexican steakhouse located on the lower level of the Rodeo Collection, has attracted some of the biggest stars in town, including Selena Gomez, Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Benson.
